Kristy Nita Brown loves to write junior fiction about small characters who do big things. A debut author from Western Australia, Kristy delivers creative writing workshops at libraries and schools, and lectures film and television production at TAFE. Previously, Kristy has worked as an executive in the Australian music industry, and in television training and production roles in Sydney and Melbourne.
She has a Bachelor of Primary Education, a Bachelor of Media Studies, a Certificate of Training and Assessment and completed numerous courses at the Australian Writers’ Centre. Kristy is an active member of the Australian writing community. Kristy can also do a backwards somersault into a pool, as long as it is safe to do so!
